Welcome to The Park at Mawgan Porth

One of the Top 12 Resort destinations in the UK as voted by Green Tourism & Heritage

We now offer weekly outdoor yoga sessions in the wild serenity of our 27 acre reserve

Philip Niemand and all of the staff at The Park look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful and unique venue. It has the envious privilege of being nestled in a valley beside a secluded beach on the North Cornwall coast, making it a seaside haven for the whole family. You’ll find a unique holiday park with its selection of extraordinary lodgings scattered throughout acres of tranquil woodland.

Imagine every style of holiday home in the most picturesque of Cornish surroundings; eco-lodges, beach houses, luxury cottages, summerhouses, Mongolian yurts and static caravans, including retro fitted 1950’s Air Stream trailers. All perfectly placed in and around 27 acres of coastal woodland.

Our idyllic location, a few hundred yards from the beach, is as ideal for surfing, as the coastal paths are for cycling or walking the dog. Neighbouring Watergate Bay and it's expansive beach offers watersports and great places to eat including Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Restaurant. Also close by is Padstow, a popular Old Cornish Fishing town home to Rick Stein & Paul Ainsworth's Restaurants.

On site, there is a huge range of facilities for people of all ages to enjoy and countless activities for the kids. The leisure centre has heated indoor pool with steam room and sauna, a fantastic cafe which is quickly becoming one of the best known eateries in the area and there is a heated  outdoor pool and kids play area on site too.

You will find plenty of places to relax, have a picnic, fire up the BBQ or simply enjoy the delights of your accommodation (including wood-burning fireplaces, open-plan living areas and private hot-tubs).

The Park is open all year round and we’re dog friendly so you can come with the whole family anytime you like.

Cornwall in the Summer sunshine– simply sublime!

If you are planning on taking advantage of a sun-filled break in Cornwall in the warm summer season then you are in for a real treat ... as it is simply a wonderful place to be. For a lot of people you only truly experience Cornwall properly at this time of year, with bustling street cafes, sandy feet and sun-kissed faces.

Enjoy breath-taking walks along the Cornish coastal paths, surf the fresh waters with regular ocean swell or simply enjoy the gardens, the Eden project, theatre, museums, aquariums and foodie places galore … all at an energized pace of somewhere alive and kicking!

Away in September ...

Cornwall has the mildest climate in Britain, spring comes early, and autumn lingers longer. So for those looking to get a beach break once the Autumn holiday dust has settled, why not get away in September - to a place where you can laze on a sandy beach, walk among fields of wild flowers or lose yourself in some local history - Celts and pirates, giants and kings!
