Activities on Site

The Park has a wide variety of activities for all ages to enjoy, with plans to build further facilities in the coming months.

The Park’s heated outdoor swimming pool is available for all our guests to enjoy. There is a secure toddlers’ play area so parents can relax while the little ones use up some of that boundless energy and, if that’s not enough, the giant trampoline should do the trick! There is also an assortment of outdoor play equipment for our young guests to use.

A traditional yurt filled with soft play equipment and toys is also available for children to enjoy, come rain or shine. It’s the ideal place for children to meet and play together, perhaps creating a wonderful make believe world of camping out on the Mongolian Steppes!

Explore our conservation area, with walkways through areas of wild flowers and plants, keeping your eyes open for the many rabbits, foxes and badgers which have made their homes here. There is an enormous range of birdlife too and we can give you information about our regular inhabitants if that birdsong eludes you. The Vale of Lanherne is a unique natural environment in this exquisite part of Cornwall and we will be enhancing this through further native planting and landscaping.

Our outdoor team has also been busy landscaping new sunspots and private gardens for guests to enjoy the good weather in. The decking by the outdoor pool is also a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a drink.

Dogs are welcome to stay in some of our cottages, although we do ask that dogs are kept on a lead around The Park site. We can give you details of which beaches welcome dogs all year round and there are, of course, lots of wonderful walks to take them on.

Later this year, we will be opening an indoor leisure centre, which will include a swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The games room will offer table tennis, pool and table football, along with a DVD library to use with the wide-screen TVs. There will be a soft play area, where children can enjoy themselves in a bright, safe environment.
