Windsong Holiday Home in Cornwall

Windsong is located in a small cul-de-sac above the village of Mawgan Porth, which is very suitable for larger parties and family groups. Having been completely refurbished, this house now offers very comfortable, stylish holiday accommodation in five bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 people, in addition there is a sofa bed in the second living room on the ground floor. The newly installed central heating, improved insulation, wood cladding and new windows mean this is perfect for letting throughout the year and is perfect for a special christmas away with family or friends. 

We have used natural fibre furnishings, flooring and textiles throughout and there is a variety of art and craftworks by local and national artists to give a home away from home feel to this Cornish seaside house. 

One of the large double rooms has an en suite bathroom with large shower, sink and WC, and there is a contemporary family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Upstairs are a further two bedrooms and another shower room. The wet room on the ground floor ensures that there won’t be any queuing for hot showers or baths when everyone comes back from the beach. Surf boards, wetsuits and beach paraphernalia can all be safely stored on the premises.

The large fully equipped kitchen, with modern appliances and good storage will make light work of your holiday meals. There is a double oven, five-burner gas hob, extractor, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. The kitchen island has a breakfast bar with seating to make the kitchen a more sociable place to be. The open plan kitchen/dining area has a large table with ample seating and a traditional dresser for extra storage. Tea towels, oven gloves and dish cloths are all included.

The sitting room is the perfect place to unwind after a hard day’s holiday with plenty of comfortable seating and a contemporary gas fire. There is a large-screen television, DVD player and Freeview, internet access, plus books, games and DVDs. Windsong also has a WiFi access point available for guests to use.

The house has a private garden with a hot tub and a front balcony with far reaching views plus easy access to the beach footpath and plenty of parking. There is a built-in barbecue in the garden and outdoor seating is provided to enjoy those warm sunny days and evenings while you listen to the sound of the waves breaking on the shore.
